18:6. Is it the fasting time or the consistency of hours?

Edit. I meant 16:8 in topic. Not 18:6.

What’s more important. Like I can typically stop eating at 8 pm and then start eating at 12 pm next day. So 16 hrs. But if I did 8-12 for a week then one day when I start eating at 12, stop at 7 so I can start at 11 next day. And one day stop eating at 10 “because party” and so start eating 2 pm.

In other words I always keep the 16 hrs but occasionally my times are skewed due to life and family etc. I’m assuming that doesn’t work that way right? I should maintain a strict same schedule every day for results? Otherwise it throws it off?

Huberman did an IF episode where he outlines how to get the most benefit. You’ll need to decide for yourself what you need to get out of it.
