Ok so i’m new to intermittent fasting, i have two questions, some say that it doesn’t matter what you eat but i’m assuming you still have to be in a caloric deficit right ? and second of all, how long did it take you guys to adapt to the fasting, im on day 2 and i stop eating at 7, but tonight i’m feeling really weak
If you want to lose weight then yes, you have to be conscious of what you eat and be in a calorie deficit. You can easily gain weight while intermittent fasting if you eat too much consistently (unfortunately, I know this from experience). As far as adapting, it took me about a week to get in the swing of things and for the cravings to go away outside of my eating window. Are you feeling physically weak? Are you eating enough or have you cut back drastically? How’s the quality of what you’re eating (protein, veggies, etc.)?
