I’m 3 weeks in now and down 14lbs~. Everything’s going pretty well in general. I’m pretty impressed with IF, and I feel great almost all the time except for my first meal back after the fast recently.
I’m wondering if anyone has any advice on what to break the fast with. I had a decently large meal for instance today at 5pm and felt a little “sugar crash-y” after the meal. Haven’t had this happen so far so I was just looking for any similar experiences.
I don’t do 20’s now but I have. If you eat a carb-y meal, you’re gonna need a little lie down while your body owns the factory floor.
It used to be the advice in here “ease into eating…” That’s a protein shake to break the fast and then eat a little later. But that’s harder on a 4 because you have so little time to eat.
So something with protein, fiber and fat, but little carbs. Like scrambled eggs with toasted chia seeds and an avocado.
A spinach salad with nuts. A bowl of beans with salsa?
I like to eat peanut butter and oatmeal, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s easy to overeat.
