20:4 vs OMAD

Hi all.

Is there any functional difference between 20:4 where I can only get 1 meal in in that time anyway?

I bounce in and out of the two. Honestly I think it all comes down to what you are eating in that window. I think the end of my 20:4 window is ugly because I end up blasting some junk in there. I usually eat a high protein low carb dinner. Then the last hour I’m grazing on some garbage. If you can plan your window out I think either format will give you success.

Right now I find myself sitting comfy with 22:2. I have kids so dinner takes an hour no matter what. Kinda works for me.

Omad has also helped me move to weekly 48s and my first 72 (ending tonight)

I jump between 16:8 to 20:4 these days. I only do 20:4 if I think I can pull it off without getting in the way of life. For 20:4, I’ll eat a nice meal to break my fast, and just have a lighter meal at the end of it so that I can socially eat with my partner.
