Would this method prevent my metabolism from going down and still have fat loss?
Method: Fasting once or twice a week for 24 hours each. Rest of the days eating a lower calorie diet (500 to 1000 calorie deficit).
I don’t know anything about the science of it, but last year when I was getting into really good shape I would fast intermittently 4-5 days a week, ate probably around 1500-2200 calories on those days, then would do one 24-48 fast a week. I really liked it and it worked for me, I felt like the bigger fasts “reset” me too.
