24-hour Water and Dry fast Questions and advice?

So I’ve been doing dry and water fasting for a while, and from my research and dr. finlovs book dry to wet is the way, and wet to dry is a no-no, but recently, I learned that it was only there because of healing, which had no link to weight loss.

As someone who is overweight and struggles to maintain dry fasts due to life and commitments, I wanted to try and incorporate 24-hour dry —> 24-hour wet —> 24-hour dry, —> repeat.

I’ve looked at past posts, but nothing is conclusive enough information and data-wise to provide a solid answer to this question.

So I ask everyone that has done this form or similar form of fasting to please share your experience and whether this fasting method increases weight loss compared to water fasting. And for the people that incorporated exercise, how hard was it? How much did you guys exercise?

I greatly appreciate any contributions as it would be good knowledge for people who may also be looking into this and are looking for answers.

When you water fast you easily flush out your electrolytes. This idea that just drinking some salted water is going to fix it is simply inaccurate. Your body processes electrolytes through food better and a lot of the water mix won’t actually replenish your electrolyte stock. Also, it’s gross.

It’s very common to get more headaches and overall weakness on a water fast for that reason.I have dry fasted all the way to 350lbs to 100lbs. Before I had learned of dry fasting I would force myself to water fast and feel like passing out and would get really hungry.Going from dry to water means that you have already dry fasted but you’re still willing to put yourself in an even more uncomfortable situation with the water fast.

Dry fasting is and was sustainable for me because its more comfortable. I haven’t water fasted in years.

Dry fasting for whatever amount of time and then fully refeeding has never let me down.

I think he’s thinking that it is too much pressure on your body to go into a weakened state (wet fast) then into an even more weakened state (dry fast).

But really, just try it. Often fame-cult figures like him write a load of crap based on pet theories. Try it yourself, see what happens. Don’t assume he’s right.
