24 vs 36 vs 48 hour fasts for weight loss

Id imagine that the 48 hour fast is best of the three for weight loss, and more specifically fat loss, but how much of a difference does it truly make?

I’ve been trying out rolling 36’s and I think it’s a pretty good way of losing fat fast over a 2-3 week period. Basically every second day you’re eating and on that day you also do strength training, then more cardio focus on the non-eating days. That way you’re still getting some of the benefits of autophagy, you’re still retaining some muscle, and you’re dropping fat quite rapidly.

As the other reply said, the best routine is one you can stick to.

Answer

I would suggest rolling 36-hour fasts. One singular fast of a period under 72 hours is really not going to have any impact on weight loss, but consistently doing multiple rounds of 36 hour fasts would definitely help.
