i started at 240 and am now at 209. i don’t really see a difference honestly. besides my stomach. i will say my stomach is definitely smaller. i can’t even force/push my stomach out much, it almost looks the exact same as when im relaxed. and it is smaller than it used to be. but as far as overall size, i look the same. is it because i started at a really high weight?
but regardless i do feel great about the progress ive made. and clothes are getting looser on me. which is weird… but it keeps me motivated to keep losing weight. but yeah is this normal? does it mean i may have body dysmorphia still?
There’s this saying called the “Paper Towel Theory” where the closer you get to your ideal weight, the more significant each pound loss appears, like how you barely notice the removals of the first few sheets, but as you start to run out, the roll feels like it rapidly becomes smaller. You are doing great!
Did you take before/after pictures? Progress pictures are a great way to notice changes that you don’t notice due to day to day progression. Also without some resistance training (and even with it) you also lose lean mass with fasting. I would add some of that in there going forward. Just 30 minutes a few times a week is enough to help
Your visceral internal fat is the first to go. Hence the smaller gut, Good work! This fat is the worst type for your health,
The subcutaneous fat is the last to go, usually the hips and back. And for me, my double chin.
I’m starting to be very lean at this point of my cut and I find new muscle and bone bumps in the mirror like every 3 days. The weight difference is like ~200 grams. Its insane. Just keep going, it gets foking rewarding the leaner you get.
