Will be starting my Journey of self healing. I was fairly fit and healthy in high school, however after college and father time I have gained an insane amount of weight which came with other complications like inflammation.

I am doing this fast primarily to lose weight and also to get the benefits of the Fasting’s cellular healing. I will also be doing basic very low weight exercises to just keep basic muscle and nerve mobility.

If there are others who also completed a prolonged fast please provide me any tips to stay mentally strong, and curb food addictions. I will post My journey updates along the way. Feel free to share your experiences also for all those who have done prolonged fasting.

Good luck on your extended fasting journey. I’m 17 days through a long term fast, looking to go into April at minimum, and still feeling great. As the other responder stated, make sure you are getting enough salt/potassium/magnesium and you should feel good. Honestly my energy levels now are higher than they were when I was eating a normal diet, which is honestly blowing my mind. Push through the first 3-5 days and hunger mostly subsides (though cravings do come and go), and you’ll be good.
