Mother of 4 here. I feel you! So first, I’d count your calories to be sure you’re at a deficit. Then I’d also decrease your carbs by cutting back on sugar and processed foods. I’d also try to add some walking to the mix. But at 10 weeks postpartum, you’re still dealing with hormone issues. Keep up the routine (I don’t think OMAD is necessary) and the weight will come off. Being pregnant, giving birth and breastfeeding changes a lot about a person’s body. It’s going to take a bit to get to your new normal.

To reiterate, I’d say the most important thing is the calorie deficit.

I think the best thing you can do is continue to be patient with yourself. Giving birth is a big deal. You’re only 10 weeks post partum, less than that since breastfeeding, and only 2 weeks into OMAD! Your body has been through a lot recently. A plateau can be water weight even for someone who has been in a consistent routine for a while, but you’ve been through lots of changes for essentially a year straight. Give yourself and your body time, and continue to make healthy decisions (and if you make unhealthy decisions, forgive yourself and stay on track). You’ve got this!

Answer

Pay attention to WHAT your doing rather than HOW your doing. If your doing the right things the how will follow. Remember that intermittent fasting is NOT a weight loss plan, it’s a lifestyle. Intermittent fasting is how our bodies are “designed” to function which is why there are so many benefits other than weight MAINTENANCE (not loss).
