35 hours dry fast done

Hi everyone ☺️

Details about myself Female Height : 5’6 Age :27 Weight : 88/89 kg ( keeps fluctuating)

I started hard dry fast on Saturday around 1.00 am (5/11/22) with starting weight 88.80 kg When I weighed myself today ( 7/11/202) it was 85.75 kgs I believe it’s water weight and will be back as soon as I break my fast

I plan to do soft dry fast till 8/11/2022 and maybe do a water fast for 14-16 hrs. However, I’m pretty confused about refeed as I’ll be leaving for vacation in few days I don’t wanna let loose myself completely and ruin the effort 🥺

Can someone pls help me on how to refeed? TIA 🫶

Answer

Hi. I completed a 72hr soft dry fast yesterday. I started by having water with half a teaspoon of baking soda. Then shortly after that I had a table spoon of apple cider vinegar mixed with water to get my gallbladder working. Then I had a very light watery fish soup. Then 5 hrs later I began eating normally. Drink your water slowly. Try to drink at least 3litres the day you break your fast. By the way I’m female, I went from 90kg to 86kg after refeed.

Similar advice here. Drink small amounts of water to break the fast. I then drink a baking soda/ACV mixture to start the system back up. 2 hours in I’ll drink a cup or two of grass-fed bone broth to make sure all my organs are protected. After the three hour mark I’ll eat one single ingredient solid food if I’m ready to re-feed. Eggs and chicken are my go to. One piece of advice I’ve seen from many is never eat pork as your first solid, something about it makes re-feeding unpleasant. You got this!
