I started doing keto beginning of April. Starting weight was 222lb and beginning of august I was 192lb. I’m 5’6 29 female. So I lost 30lb. In July my weight loss slowed down tremendously to only losing 2lb that month.
So In august I decided to take things to another level. I started rolling 5 day fasts and today I weighed in at 156.5lb. So I lost 35.5lb. My refeed is an 8 hour window and it’s strict keto.
I haven’t weighed this little since 2017. Lost all my pregnancy weight and I’m so proud of myself. Still planning to lost another 20ish pounds.
As I am much smaller now I don’t lose as much with the fasts. After my refeed I gain about 2lb, which takes me 2 days to lose, and then I lost another 1lb over the next 2-3 days. Which means I lose a pound more then the lowest weight from my previous refeed. It does get a bit discouraging but I am not giving up!
Have you thought about mixing it up? I find weight loss slows after a few months of doing the same thing so I need to change the routine. Like try rolling 3s for a week with one meal in between or 3s and 4s then back to your plan. Close to goal weight it does come off slower though. Congratulations on your progress that is a brilliant loss since April!
That’s awesome 👌. Seriously good on you for doing the work and staying disciplined. You probably know what’s best for you and your body. Disregard people giving you unsolicited advice on what to do now.
