I’m not sure that’s sustainable, nor is it the best way to lose weight, because you will literally torture your body. If you really want to lose weight, in my opinion, you should do a prolonged dry fast, 7-11 days. You will lose an enormous amount of weight, and it’s completely safe. That way you will get all the benefits of DF, which you can’t really get if you keep breaking your fast daily.

After you fast for a week or so, then you can maybe try intermittent dry fasting. I don’t recommend OMAD because you have to give yourself enough time to hydrate your body, since you won’t ever give your body a chance to tap into endogenous sources of water.

And the most important thing, use that time while you fast to fix your nutrition, so that when you start eating again you will give your body all it needs and continue losing excess weight.

I actually don’t see a problem in this fast. One meal a day in the evenings is not dangerous. Rehydrate adequately during your refeed windows. It would be easier to eat your water so choose foods with a high water content. All the best!
