So everyone is saying not to add juice bc of breaking ketosis. While this is true, I’d not do the juice for a simpler reason. It’ll make you hungry af. Basically punishing yourself for no reason. Juice will trigger your hunger hormones and make you ravenous. You might have a strong enough will to fight it off, but unless you’re masochistic there’s really no reason to do that to yourself.
Do coconut milk. If you’re goal is autophagy and weight loss, the juice will kick you out of ketosis. Coconut milk is half MCT’s which bypass digestion and increase ketones. You want the sustained energy and juice will do you no favours in that regard or with the metabolic processes.

I understand that there are different approaches to fasting (maybe yours is not being in ketosis), but I thought in this community people fast to improve insulin sensitivity and such. I don’t understand what the purpose of the juice here. It’s bad for your liver, you’ll get the sugar crash afterwards… Some bone broth or a low carb smoothie (tops) would be a much better option, no?
