Weight Loss

Diet

Trying to stick to 40% Carbs 40% Protein & 20% Fat Macros

I’ve found the perfect bowl from Chipotle that hits macros precisely. This is my only meal, I treat myself like I feed my dog, same food, and same time

40 hour fast followed by an 8 hour feeding period. My eating window is every other day from 12PM-8PM

I find if I do OMAD around 12PM or 1PM fasting the next day is much harder, BUT if I eat my first meal around 12-1 and my second lighter meal around 7PM, the 40 hour fast become much easier

I’m eating around \~2015 calories a day (1.5 bowls of chipotle + a protein shake (2 scoops)) I’ve been very strict about this and do not snack or do anything that messes this up unless it’s adding more protein to my protein shake on workout heavy days
Workout

I work from home and workout through the day (going to get a gym membership mid Feb. & start lifting for max recomposition benefits)

No matter what I do some type of physical activity everyday

I’ve started breaking my workouts up throughout the week, so on my eating days I will workout upper body one day and lower body on another, and I just do core/ab exercises on fasting days, I also do 30 minutes of light cardio every day (3mph on treadmill)

I’ve noticed a difference pretty much all over my body except for my lower abs / love handles which are what I want gone the most! But I know they’ll go, just gotta trust the process.
How I am Mentally

I’ve been missing out on a lot of social events because I’ve been sticking to this plan so hard, most of the events I would usually attend involve food & alcohol, so that’s a bummer, but it’ll be worth it.

Some people have been noticing the weight loss, which helps me power through the tough days because I know I’m making a difference (it feels good when someone notices the work!)

I’m loving this diet plan and want to stick to it until I hit my goal weight of 155 lbs

Answer
you do you, but man, skipping out on social events because you dont want to be around food / booze seems very unsustainable. I think what I love about fasting 2-3 x 36 hour fasts a week is that it gives me the flexibility to do whatever I want at certain times and still lose or at least not gain weight.
