Saw a recent video of myself playing drums, just barely being able to keep up, and just got sick of hovering between 270 and 278, and feeling low on energy all the time. Just passed a big certification exam for work, and decided to use that momentum to launch myself into IF and picking my gym regimen up again.

So far, 3 weeks in, still getting used to being a little hungry all the time, but nothing I can’t handle. Here’s to working towards a healthier lifestyle.

Good for you! Keep it up. I have noticed the hunger passes the longer you do it. I just drink a bunch or coffee and sparkling water like bubbly or lacroix and it helps. I think the hunger pangs are your body asking for easy calories to break down for energy because in the past you have responded by eating. Once it realizes you aren’t going to cave it will start to break down the extra fat you carry and convert that into sugar for energy. Cheers to a healthier new year for you!
