46M needing to lose 30kgs but afraid of lose skin

I’ve been trying forever to lose weight and my unhealthy lifestyle of broken sleep, cigarettes, alcohol and an overall lamentable lifestyle have taken a toll on my skin and I have stretch marks and wrinkles on my shoulders, arms, legs, buttocks, tummy and side tyres.

Add to that caffiene and stressing all day (which is a proven factor in excessive wrinkling and stretch marks)

Thus, my skin is bust and therefore I cannot rely on methods such as ADF or Snake Diet.

Tried researching diets which have a lot of autophagy in them but seems it takes autophagy only rises on day 2, 3, 4 and 5 after which it too dies down.

Add of top of that I’ve seen people comment that even after losing weight through multiple day rolling fasts (back to back 2 + day fasts) there was still lose skin.

I’ve spent 15 months drooling around what to do. 16:8 fasting seems one way to lose weight but even if I am patient - would it still result in lose skin ?

I have 12 months (or more if someone recommends) to change.

Edit - I am 23 not 46 (but sadly due to such a lamentable lifestyle feel 46)

I was in the same shoes and yeah the stretch marks and loose skin are there but it’s nowhere near as bad as being fat. You’re using that as an excuse to not change yourself.

Just start fasting. Do 24hr rolling fasts to start with. Stretch marks are scars, they are permanent damage to the skin. You may be able to minimise the appearance but they are there to stay. I have a pic in my post history, that is what I look like after losing 100lbs at 25.

Edit. You’re 23 and want to weigh 58kg at 6ft? That’s 127lbs. That’s really underweight and could make you ill. Maybe it’s tempting to go as low as possible as like a form of self punishment, I’ve been there, but you do not need to lose that much. 30lbs at the most, depending on your frame.

Just start. Once you get into a fasting groove, I would add regular 72s. Also eat clean, take collagen and some think dry brushing helps. There is only so much you can do. Some get lucky, some get surgery. The longer you wait, the harder any of it is gonna get. Work on your emotional management and relationship with food (Dr. Rob Cywes YT vids on carb addiction and vulnerability to addictive behaviors is great for this). You can’t keep going up and down, it is really hard on your skin and health. Start with your next meal and go from there.
