Hi, i’m flirting with the idea of a 5 day fast for injury recovery (long term patellar tendonopathy) and general long term well being. Not that fussed about weight loss.

Does anyone have experiences they can share on general well being and or injury recovery ?

I also find the link to fasting in ancient cultures / religions fascinating. Not due to the spiritual aspect, but I believe a lot of survival tactics were embedded within religious practice. Ancient knowledge being smuggled / passed down via religion.
