Hi all! Both nervous and excited to publicly commit to starting my modified water fast (allowing both green tea and coffee, if needed). I’ve been practicing IF by having just lunch and dinner for a long time, switched to very low carb this past Sunday to hopefully get my body ready to transition to fat only, no idea if that will really help but can’t see how it would hurt.
Stats - 49 F - 158 this AM @ 5’10 - goal is primarily for the autophagy benefits but lowering of total body fat will not suck.
Anyone else ready to go?!
I am a bit premature to start but I had an IRL volunteer who said she’d do it if we started yesterday after lunch so I’ll just be here for a bit of a preview for anyone who hasn’t done it. And lets keep accountable regardless!
Hour 19 atm, there were a few feed me prompts last night but really nothing significant and I did decide to go with water and tea and if anyone is going with tea I’d strongly recommend Yogi brand Ginger tea. Probably all of them are the same but that is the one I had and it was my “dinner” and since it’s so very ginger like it was satiating to me and that was the end of the hunger prompts until bed time. Feel fine this AM, not at all hungry just now but I do generally skip breakfast.
