I see a lot of people recommending going from a water fast to a dry fast like it’s no big deal. If you aren’t getting the proper electrolytes during a water fast, going dry would further drain you and could be very unhealthy. It makes better sense and I’ve seen it recommended to always go from a more extreme form of fasting to a lesser one - dry to water but never water to dry. After fasting 5 days you can break the dry fast with a bit of baking soda and salt then continue with the water fast taking proper electrolytes (snake juice is a good example).

Answer

Start the dryfast in between your waterfast and go as long as you can with the 7 days only serving as a benchmark to reach. Maybe you reach 3 days or 4 days dry then just switch it back to waterfast. You can alternate back and forth. Just play around with it. There’s no set schedule you have to follow. It’s a practice.
