How were your results?
Weight Health benefits wise
And were you able to do cardio (even long form of walking) throughout?
About to start from tomorrow up to December 31st. Want to test and push myself.
Will be making my last day of eating keto..(other than the 2 blocks of chocolates I had in the morning š¬)
Edit- will be taking some salt and nosalt when needed any other supplements you suggest are welcome
I have done it only for roughly 20 days for some weight unrelated medical problems. Cravings were tough only for the first 2-3 days afterwards, no big problem. Biggest issue was dealing with the dizziness, but Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium and Table salt reall helped with that. But overall my energy was very low and I did never feel that high people are talking aboutā¦ I eventually quit and 10 days later I even gained more weight than I had before the fast, classic yo-yo effect I guess
I have done multiple 30 days before (sadly because of job I always end up gaining some weight back). Part of my everyday routine is walking the dog 2 hours per day (1 hr in the morning and 1 hr in the evening) even while fasting. For me the long walk had no Iāll effect at all.
Donāt fast for weight loss if your really overweight, if you have 25+ lbs donāt do extended fasts, maybe 20-4, Omad or occasionally a 48 but if you just go straight into crazy fasting you will prob gain the weight back.
My longest was 24 days but also a ton of 5-10 days, lost 72lbs, fast forward a year and Iāve gained every single pound back and itās beyond depressing, you lose the weight but donāt learn how to eat sensibly or keep the weight off.
I do low carb (not keto) and a mix of 18 hours fasting and one or two meals a day, down 16lbs but itās going to be a while til im back where I want to be.
Also fasting turned me into a massive binge eater when I broke my fasts and this took a while to overcome when I basically started eating again.
One last thing, I got suckered into the āsnake dietā but watch him now and even he has basically 180ād and says eating multiple meals a day because people lose the weight fast but they donāt learn to keep it off.
Long post and hope it doesnāt demotivate you but regaining a lot of lost weight and starting again is extremely depressing, do it slower do it once and do it right and the end result is better imo, take it from someone who learnt the hard way
