About Broth

I’ve been away from the Snake Diet community for a while and while I’m back here now I’m seeing people mention drinking broth

I’ve seen it mentioned way before but even then I was never really tuned in to why people use it or the benefits or even what types of broth to use

Can someone mind filling me in?

Broth is a good way to break a long fast. It will provide calories and an insulin/digestion response while being, obviously, very easy to digest. Unless you’re fasting for 3+ days at a time, in my opinion, you don’t need to worry about that.

Broth is just boiled chicken carcass. It has a pretty good amount of sodium and potassium in it. Bouillon is more chicken flavored salt. Like what you would find in a ramen noodle packet. I find it a lot more tolerable than snake juice. I’m sure someone will comment on its nutrition content, but when you mix the broth and bullion the calories are negligible. I think a bullion cube is like 10 calories. Personally, I can do broth indefinitely and I’m seeing the same insane results everyone else gets from this routine. I think if you have successfully done the snake diet but are unhappy doing it and likely to quit, then broth could be a diet saver. It’s like savory unsweetened sports drink.

I love broth and I make it often in my instant pot. It is the best for lazy people like me lol I put a whole chicken into the instant pot covered with filtered water, a bit of salt and a splash of ACV and after 5 hours I have bone broth. Then I add nutritional yeast in my cup and it is soo healing. After 1 or 2 hours of drinking my broth I eat the chicken meat and i find it a nice way to break a +72h fast. It is great for skin too!
