My tip, if you are going 55 hours then go longer. The first 3 days of a water fast are the most difficult.
During a water fast I take a lot of showers, exercise when I get hungry, and drink lots of water. The hunger stops for me around day 3, but you still have mental cravings on occasion after that. I don’t know why, but I really like showers when I’m fasting. I like showers normally, but when I’m fasting I’ll shower 3 or more times per day.
