It was definitely <10 calories because I don’t use a lot of sugar. It was the tip of a tsp. I wasn’t thinking straight. I made it and never tasted it, and was giving it to a friend, and I figured I’d taste some. How bad did I fvck up? I’m like a day and a half away from finishing my 7 day and I’d be so bummed if I ruined this, but I’d rather not continue on the fast if the benefits of this long term fast are no longer occurring.
Do I just keep going on the fast? How can I tell if the fast is broken? (I don’t have a glucose meter). Is autophagy no longer happening? What happens when this happens? Thanks.
It’s fine. Yes, you technically broke your fast. No, it does not matter. It’s literally going to make no difference. Keep going and if you decide not to, just realize that you’re quitting because you WANT to, not because there’s any legitimate reason to.
Just hop right back on the fasting train. This isn’t a pass fail test. You do lose some of the benefits of lower fasting times but uf you have chosen this as a lifestyle just continue fasting
Having said that … from personal experience any sugar makes it harder to stay in fasting mode.
So get someone to taste test for you
