I want to try OMAD but I have pretty bad acid reflux
Anybody face similar challenges? How did you deal with it?
I actually find that fasting helps “cure” my heartburn, turning it from an almost every day occurrence to an occasional problem. When I do have heartburn at night, I sometimes take a gaviscon even if it breaks my fast a little.
I’ve found my acid reflux has improved drastically since I began intermittent fasting (18:6). Could be a result of the fasting, or just healthier choices across the board (although I haven’t fully given up alcohol). Either way I’m pleased. Just make sure to drink plenty of water.
