Actual Science

Hi all!

I’ve been doing LeanGains IF for three years successfully.

I keep on seeing people asking about OMAD and I was curious if anybody can actually point me to any definitive scientific backing of this diet or the warrior diet?

Answer

My general understanding is that fasting has a timeline of benefits. Whether you follow IF or OMAD or do a 48 or 72 hour fast, the process is generally the same in most humans. The longer you go, the more benefits you will benefit from as the process goes thru the stages. I would think people who incorporate more OMAD and occasionally longer fasts get more benefits than stands 8:16 for general health, but if you’re working out and lifting, then it might be better to do the 8:16.
