(ADF stands for Alternate Day Fasting)
29F, been OMAD or 20:4 for a little over a month and wanting to dip my toes into ADF now that I’ve gotten some control over my cravings. Feel free to join in! I was thinking we could check in with each other here to stay accountable and offer encouragement.
As for goals, I don’t have a scale yet, but I’d love to drop a pants size - go from currently XL to maybe slipping into an old pair of L’s. For diet, I tend to lean lower carb but don’t actively restrict them. I think I’ll need to widen my eating window from OMAD to 18:6 to get enough calories in on eating days. I hope to continue my daily rebounding (mini trampoline) workouts.
What about you?
Edit: Jan 31! Day 0! My goal is a solid OMAD tonight, fast all through tomorrow, and refeed Feb 2 between 36 and 48 hours in depending on how I’m feeling. Rinse and repeat with another 36-48 before refeed, and on it goes. What’s your plan?
I have been thinking about doing it shifting from OMAD. Though now in the cold winter I always feel my hands so cold after 22 hours of fasting. I had a post here or in another fasting sub about the experience but no one gave me decisive answer.
Would love to follow up with someone sharing the experience.
