Advice for nightshift?

Basically how the hell am I supposed to do IF when I’m on nightshift? Any experienced nightshift IF-ers advice would be awesome!

Planning on starting 16:8 and working my way to OMAD over the course of a couple months, I just find it difficult when I normally eat at 2-3AM during work and then back to a normal schedule otherwise. I work a 3-12s schedule (6P - 630a). So maybe start 6P-2A for 16:8 and then 8P-2A then work down till OMAD. Does OMAD need to be the same time every day or could I do 2A one day and 6P the next days I’m off in a row?

Any advice is amazing, I’m pretty new to this!

For 16:8 make your eight hours of eating around 8pm to 4 am that way outside of work you don’t have to worry about eating. Or if you wanna do like I do I’m on a 20:4 so my four hours start about the time I get home from the gym so I can eat at the house and not have to carry anything to work

I had this issue, I work all sorts of shifts. So for example, this weekend

Thur 17-03, 17-03/, 17-03, 17-01 and then next week 07-16 Wed/Thur/Fri

I decided ages ago that I would just stick to the same fasting window no matter what, so I do 18:6 and my window is

1700-2200 so I’ll eat when I wake up from nights and then I’ll eat at my desk if my lunch/dinner break isn’t within the window.

I work 4 12s. 18:30-07:20 ish. I fast 18:6. I head to the gym after airlines from 8-10. I get home and drink some electrolytes(LMNT). Fall asleep around 11 and then get up around 1630. Since I prepped my meals I’ll eat around that time. A high protein meal most days. For example maybe 12 oz steak and eggs. Or 8-12 oz of chicken thighs and asparagus or sweet potatoes. I’m usually hungry so that fills me and it digests very slowly. I follow that by drinking some coffee or a smoothie and I’m good for the night. Always always always especially 0200-0300, drink electrolytes. LMNT Is the best brand for me.
