Advice needed: fasting + working out

I have been on and off intermittently fasting since August. I go to university and don’t have a car so I end up walking a lot and during my job im up on my feet all day. The fasting + the walking has caused me to loose around 30ish lbs without trying too hard but it has started to plateau. I have been doing the same thing but now I’m just maintaining. Im going to start going to the gym because I have 20 more lbs to lose.

My issue is I usually do OMAD and I eat pretty late at night (9ish pm) and I dont know if its cool to work out on an empty stomach. I also just dont know much about dieting so I’m kind of nervous to change what I have been doing.

Any suggestions?

Answer

I exercise 5 to 6 times a week. Most days twice a day.

Cardio in the morning and strength in the afternoon.

I always run fasted on a morning. Sometimes upto 10 miles.

I do fasts of upto 48 hours mostly for Autophagy.

Exercising and fasting is no issue. I tend to just not push myself too hard in strength sessions if I am doing a longer fast.
