Hey everyone! This is my first post here. I’ve done extended fasts for the past 3 years but without dieting discipline and mostly for detoxing/healing my body. This time I’m focusing a bit more on weight loss.
Last week I did a 3 days fast and for this week I want to finally reach 5 days. I have my electrolytes, trace minerals and vitamins ready. The hour I’ve started was 10:25PM EST and I hope I won’t break any time earlier.

PS: I deal with panic attacks and heard that fasting could help. I hope so. I want to live a normal life again so desperately. Would magnesium supplementation help with them? Also, anyone here into weightlifting and running who also fast? Any times to avoid dizziness/weakness while working out?
FYI fasting could make anxiety and panic attacks worse because your adrenaline and cortisol is increased. You should be taking magnesium when fasting anyway but also yes, magnesium is a relaxant and can help with anxiety.
