Seems most people want to lose weight but I am not interested in that at all, rather I’m concerned with healing diseases/chronic illness with dry fasting. Primarily I am aiming to get rid of my meniere’s disease by dry fasting so would be very interested to see if anyone has experience with that or other related issues.
I also have other problems, I suffer from chronic mild constipation and I have an extremely hard time putting on weight and muscle mass, so gut issues I guess, again would be good to hear people’s experience.
I started out a couple of weeks ago with a 2-day dry fast, and I am currently close to wrapping up a 7-day dry fast (still have 24 hours left to go). But apparently 9-11 days is ideal for healing disease? I guess I’ll have to see how I feel as to when I break the fast. After I recover from this fast I’m aiming to do a series of shorter fasts say 2-3 days per week then after a little while move onto another long dry fast. Does that sound sensible too bearing in mind I’m doing this for healing illness?
So far this seven-day fast hasn’t been as hard as I thought it would be, aside from dry mouth I have been feeling a bit fatigued (especially on day 5), have had on/off insomnia, but it’s bearable. But I can’t say my illness has improved, or is this something that happens after the fast during the recovery period, after you hammer out many fasts?
Looking forward to hearing about people’s experiences, how did their fasts go etc. Thanks all.
I have done a couple 4 and a 5 day dry fast. It reduced my symptoms by like 80% so far (for prostatitis or something, doctors have no clue what it is). Im planning a 9-11 in October. I have complete confidence in its ability to heal me based on my experiences already.
How is your ear feeling during the fast? Are you getting any sensations or strange feelings in that area?
