Alternatives to salt and potassium water

As an alternative to gagging down some snakejuice I think it may be preferable to consume electrolytes through tablets such as the following: 4x 1 gram sodium chloride tablets (394 mg of sodium) [such as this](https://www.amazon.com/Safrel-Sodium-Chloride-Tablets-15-4gr/dp/B091NKB9ZG) 24x 99 mg potassium caplets [such as this](https://www.amazon.com/Natures-Bounty-Potassium-Gluconate-Caplets) Is there any downsides to this?

Answer

You want to take 28 tablets a day? I don’t think that’s really sustainable. I take electrolyte tablets daily when fasting and I take 6 a day, which is sometimes hard lol (and they’re not even the full amount you’re supposed to have every day). Also its not a good idea to eat so much of them in capsule form because it can burn your stomach lining quite badly
