Am i doing this right? just need someone to confirm.

I am 18 years old, weigh 104 kilos and am 6ft2 from India, i have started IF to help me calorie defecit more efficiently, i am working out 4-5 days a week, i lift weights and do a bit of cardio in the end like incline treadmill or the elliptical/cycle. I begin eating at 1 PM i usually break my fast with either 2 boiled eggs or some soaked almonds, i’ve restricted myself into having just 1 small cup of rice with vegetables and lentil curry, i then have a salad at 4:30 and have dinner by 8:30 pm again just 2 , 5 /6 inch whole wheat flatbreads with a vegetable side. Am i doing this right or should i cut down some more?

i dont have black coffee/green tea, i dont consume tea/coffee even at my feeding period as i’ve noticed it triggers acidity. Thoughts?

Are you tracking your calories? You’d be surprised at how many calories are in things like breads and rice. Download an app like LoseIt!, enter all your data and it’ll tell you how many calories to eat to lose weight. LoseIt! also has an intermittent fasting timer option. Good luck!

Answer

You do not have to be so strict on IF. That is the beauty of this life style. The rice and flat bread are fine. You are young and still growing. Stick to your work out plan and you will lose. Just don’t snack throughout the day.
