Am I supposed to reduce the number of meals as well?

I’m not really doing this for weightloss. I just want the overall physical and mental health benefits.

I work out every afternoon around 3-4pm so what I was thinking I’d do was

Breakfast - 11am

Lunch-2pm

Supper + protein shake - Finished before 7pm

Will this be effective at all or am I supposed to reduce my caloric intake as well?

Answer

A big mental benefit is the clarity and alertness you feel from being in a fasted state. If you start eating at 11am you’re probably missing out on that. I’d try to rework your schedule to start eating after you work out.
