Anecdotes from dry fasting?

What are some opinions people have on here about dry fasting, why do you do it, how long have you done it for, what benefits do you see as opposed to water fasting? Can it lower inflammation? Should certain (or all) people avoid it? I’ve heard it can be easier than water fasting because drinking liquids triggers hunger signals. Also heard it can help give your kidneys a break. If you have any research on it, that’s welcome too.

I will occasionally throw in a dry fast at the end of a 48 hour snake juice fast. It really seems to accelerate results. I wouldn’t dry fast for more than 24 hours. Also I don’t do what is called a hard dry fast meaning no contact with water, no brushing your teeth no showers. So I do brush my teeth. But if you want to be hard-core about it don’t take a shower or brush your teeth for 24 hours and don’t drink anything. What’s called a soft dry fast means you take a shower and brush your teeth, wash your face.

I practice death fasting off and on. Cole did a few videos on it. It gives you the benefits of dry fasting but you wont feel like total shit as you get to drink some after you sweat some. The key is to be in a water defecit so your body is still having to replinish it.
