This last fast was the longest one I’ve done of 10.5 days plus 25 days of water fasting that followed. Going on short hikes wasn’t as difficult for me throughout the fast this time, but of course that could be because each fast is always a little bit easier than the previous one.
I’m just curious if anyone has tried a diet of only fruits before a fast and a diet of only meat before a fast and which one seemed to work out better for you in terms of preparation?
Do you work? Sorry I’m just curious if people doing super long fasts like this work jobs. I’m an electrician and anything past five days while working is undoable for me. Maybe I just need to take some time off to get a super long one in.
Incredible for you to make it nearly 11 days! Congrats!
I’ve been carnivore for a little over a year. Lonest dry fast I’ve done is 9 days. It definitely had a profound impact on my gut, mind, body and relationship with food. I would not do anything this drastic again, however I would still do 48-72hr dry fast. All the fasts I’ve ever done definitely get easier with each one.
I have lost taste, desire, and need for anything that isn’t beef, salt or eggs. I feel best without fruits of veg.
