I’d like to have much more member here in the DF group in order to spread the DF lifestyle rapidly.
What do you think about it?
If you are positive about that: which actions do you think we all need to implement to make it happens?
Brainstorm about it so we can help more people!
What benefit would that have? I’ll be honest, every single person I’ve told about this is frankly horrified and assume you will die. When I tell them the benefits and even show my eczema went they don’t want to listen. Dry fasting is extreme and cannot be forced on people.
If you start off by telling people you’ve found an effective way to regulate your weight, heal your body and calm your mind they might be more open to the method behind it.
Ultimately though, almost all of modern society is all but completely lost in a hopeless cycle of depression, addiction and self abuse so don’t expect to get anywhere with 99.9999% of people.
Well the majority of us did not jump into dry fasting from nothing, we went through the path of looking for health, then finding about IF, then prolonged fasting and ultimately dry fasting so guiding people to jump from one of these steps to next one is a step in the right direction
Not sure there is much we can do about that. Most people think its bad or youll kill yourself if you dont eat 3+ meals a day and drink a galon of water a day. Been doing some form of carnivore, intermittent fastijg, fasting or dry fasting for about 2 years now and everyone i tell says something negative. Im in the best shape of my life and feel amazing. Have lost over 100 pounds and will never stop. Its a lifestyle change.
If you tried to ‘recruit’ to me I would have never joined this sub and assume it was a dangerous cult.
The benefits of DF only came to me when I started experimenting during my snake juice fasts. People will be drawn naturally. Just be patient.
Proselytizing is weird to me, I have no idea why random people would be interested anyway. Maybe talking about it on forums about prolonged water fasting would work. But people are pretty allergic to new ideas.
I think we don’t need any validation that our dietary lifestyle is working for us. That includes water fasting, keto or carnivore. If it works for us, then it works. The last thing we need to hear from others we are trying to convince, is negativity.
