Hey there! I just started my IF journey a couple weeks ago. I’m 30 years old, 5’5”, and 255 lbs.
I started off doing 16:8, but my sister in law said women have better success doing 14:10. I’d just love to know if anyone here has found that to be true? How did you determine your fasting window? I want to do this correctly and am open to advice! Thank you!
I wouldn’t think that 14:10 would be effective. Everything that I have read indicates that you need to fast longer to reap the benefits of your body going into deficit mode. If you’re doing more of a CICO thing, then 14:10 might work, but I don’t think that would necessarily be considered fasting. Obviously, not an expert, just my two cents.
