Any success stories about starting SJ *and* strength training at the same time?

I aim this question at those of you who were previously sedentary. Have you started lifting or training things other than cardio and noticed any pros or cons?

The cons I can think of:

Pros: I’m thinking getting shredded sooner?

I’m 24 hr fasted and already feel leaner. Even though I’m letargic because of the cold, I started chasing dragons and fantasizing about my great, healthy and toned physique that’s gonna happen until Monday.

Answer

I did a routine once for two months which is the following, I fast three days, eat, fast three days(starting from the day after I eat).

I started at 113 Kg and ended up at 92(low body fat for my height/muscle mass)

I trained 6 times a week, and my training was PowerBuliding, which is dong powerlifting lifts then some isolations to hit specific muscles, so I was doing Deadlifts, squats, bench press, overhead press, rows and what have you. All row and heavy.

I was lifting stupid heavy weights and felt like a god for the whole two months.

I also was walking 15k steps at least daily.

For the day I eat in, I eat big big meals so 6000-8000 calories, and with tons of carbs , protein and fat.

I highly suggest trying this routine out but make sure you refeed big especially carbs, and take electrolytes.

Good luck!
