Hello, I just started intermittent fasting on an 16:8 schedule. Does anyone who is more experienced in fasting have advice for one new to this? Thank you all!
start slow, ease yourself into it. example: cut out snacking over the course of a week or 2 …. then adjust meal times …. then eliminate a meal ….don’t get in a hurry to get from point A to point B
So the biggest thing that got me into it is to get used to the feeling of being fasted. I did 40 hour fast over a weekend. The hardest part for me was getting over that “hunger/temptations”. Making the transition this way made it easier and easier and I’ve been on this lifestyle for over 2 years now
