Anyone else get emotional on long fasts?

I got emotional driving to work listening to “Hounds of Love” and I couldn’t stop crying. I’m laughing out loud right now just thinking about it. For reference, I am not a big crier. I’m only 80hrs in. What gives? haha.

Answer

I’m not an expert but I think you can logically explain it:

We all have to cope with daily stress or emotional problems. Most of us just swallow it down and ignore it. While we fast we have more unused time, also eating food makes us happy, feel good. If you take that all away, you have more time to listen to your body and soul and also for your needs and stress could come up again.

So if you feel more emotional during your fasts, that could mean that you need to release some build up emotional stress or just stress. Take some me time and work it out
