Basically, just like the title says. For context, when I stuck to fasting back in pre-covid days, I had my job where I could just use physical labor and the lack of human interaction to power through. Now? Don’t really have that, and I can feel the hanger bubbling. Anyone else have any tips to push through they want to share?
Body weight exercises throughout the day.
Honestly I work with kids in education. If one of em gets to me, I’ll wait for a bathroom break or just my scheduled break. Then I’ll bust out jump squats, push-ups, jumping jacks, calf raises, whatever to get the frustration out.
I realized I can do the same thing with the hangry feelings!
I also sip cold brew green tea and regular coffee all day. Stomach might grumble but I never get hangry.
Reducing carb is really good for fixing this in my opinion. Something I started doing lately is writing down in advance how much (in terms of tablespoons) I will consume of high carb ingredients. (This is the only form of limiting/counting I practice.)
