Anyone else on 20:4 ?

About IF, I believe I overeat if i had an 8 hour eating window. I need a small eating window to restrict my calorie intake. Anyone else? 3 pm - 7 pm

Answer

I do OMAD and aren’t strict on the time schedule, so I typically use around a 2 hour window. I’m with you though about the small window to restrict the calorie intake. I think it’s easier to not eat than to only eat something small if you are hungry.

Answer

I’m currently on day 4 of 20:4 and its going pretty good.

I think I’ve got kind of a all or nothing when it comes to food I gave up sugar for 2 months then said to myself I’ll only eat it on weekends after that I completely failed.

After that I tried to only limit my carbs to only weekends then that went to 1 a day and only lasted about 6 weeks.

Answer

I started doing 20:4 a few weeks ago and 4 hours seems like plenty of time for me to eat. 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The first week was sort of an adjustment but now it’s perfectly fine. I’ve already dropped 5 lbs so I’m really happy with it. It seems to agree with me.

Answer

20-4 here for past 6 months. Prior to that I did 48 hour fasts for 3 months, and 72 hour fasts before that for 3 months. I find 20-4 very sustainable in the long term. 4pm-8pm, I usually start with something small like some nuts/vegetables while I start prepping my meal.
