I began breaking my longer (not intermittent) fasts with a little bit of watery keto food such as: cooked vegetables in blender, pasta sauce, mushrooms, carrots etc.
Because whenever i break a fast with liquids i end up spending half the day on the toilet.
I still drink some coconut or saltwater after having a little food, but the water when alone for some reason just messes up my bowels, makes everything coming out of me liquid and gas.
Very thin slices of meat, for a couple of days. Add salt on the second day and then refeed with electrolytes in a small glass of water on the second evening. Fully functional and efficient system on the third day.
I’m carnivore btw, I think it helps coming out of fasts dramatically
