I have to take am antibiotic every day for my acne rosacea or it comes back with full force. However, taking antibiotics on an empty stomach completely tears me up so I’m wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks on how to handle an antibiotic while fasting?
How long are you supposed to take them? I mean if it just a course of antibiotics you could wait it out.
If not, how often do you need to take them? If once or twice a day 16/8 or OMAD would be compatible with them.
If not, talk to your doctor for options. I believe there are topical antibiotics that could be used, or there may be antibiotics specifically for your condition that actually work best on an empty stomach. Your doctor would be the person to ask.
