Hey, everyone! I am beginning to try rolling 72’s after successfully doing 24 hour fasts. I need some motivation and would love to hear how much you lost and how fast…. also, any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all :)
I haven’t done them rolling but just finished a second 72. Both times I lost about 3 lbs. I shoot for 10k steps per day and 1 to 2 hours of cardio total (mountain biking or running) over the 72.
I like the 72 because at my bodyweight I am visually slightly leaner by the end of it.
I’ve done some. I feel better the longer they go but I never went beyond 72 hours. I reach an energetic state where I don’t think about food and I’m mentally ‘renewed’. If you already do 24 hour fasts, you’re already doing the hardest part.
The one thing I will say is you need to break your fast properly. Don’t eat a lot, don’t mix a lot of different foods and eat clean. I’ve heard that you should pick two macros and eliminate the third on the day you break your fast, I don’t know if that’s a thing though. If you don’t pay any attention to this it can mess up your stomach a bit. It’ll all level out though but if you’re sensitive pay real attention to the way you break your fast.
Edit: I lose about 4kg in 72 hours and will regain about half as I readjust, maybe a little more. 0,5kg a day is what I’d expect without exercise
