Normally i fast in the morning and eat after work, but I wanna start working out before work. Any suggestions?
I try to finish dinner earlier (6) so I can break my fast by 10am, a couple hours after working out. You’ll get used to it. I did fasted exercise at 6am prior to IF 16:8. It’s getting easier eating at 10 or 11am whereas before I crushed a post-workout bagel at 730 and added 500 calories to my allotment.
Sometimes I do work out at 9 or 10AM and in that event I will often have a protein bar before working out, which means I’ll end up with a 14 hour or 15 hour fast. That is totally fine by me, especially on a hard gym day. I aim for 14-16 hours every day and am able to stick to this.
