Sorry if this is asked a lot but I’ve read through questions and the side bar and I can’t find the answer.
I’m in the UK and I can’t find baking soda. I’ve look online and I’ve found conflicting articles about whether they are the same or not. Does anyone know if I can use bicarbonate of soda in my electrolyte drink in place of baking soda?

Baking powder has bicarbonate of soda and cream of tartar for those above. Bicarb is the same as baking soda except when I sourced US baking soda (we have an American Air Force base close) it was far less pungent!
