Answer

No, but I was in the habit of fasted workouts before trying actual fasting, used to go run in the morning right after rolling out of bed. I don’t like eating before workouts at all. I do like eating after workouts though, avoiding that is less pleasant.

In general I think it’s usually more of a mental block than physical. It would take more than a day to really run out of glucose.

Answer

My window is 11AM-7PM. I find I can do any sort of cardio before I eat without any appreciable difference in my energy level. But lifting weights was very difficult at first. It’s getting better but it’s definitely easier to lift during/after my eating window for that day.

Answer

Quite the opposite.

I do have days where I feel more sluggish, but it’s more physically, not mentally. Those days, I try to nap ? But it doesn’t happen. I’ve still got energy, just a bit pooped and I chalk it up to overdoing it the day prior.

But as a general rule, energy has increased from fasting. Greatly.

Answer

Mine are. I tried working out fasted and I felt weak, shaky and dizzy. But based on what everyone else says, it sounds like it takes a while before you get used to it then you feel more energetic. I’m about 3 weeks into IF.

Answer

I eat a date or another dried piece of fruit (an apricot or fig)before workout. I exercise around 7pm and eat from 7:30am-1:30pm. Technically it’s breaking the fast but it helps a lot and gives me a little burst of energy.
