Aspirin before dry fast

I haven’t found any research concerning taking aspirin, which thins blood, and then going into a state of dehydration. I’ve been concerned about my blood getting too thick during dry fasting, and especially after having covid which can cause blood clots (which I’ve definitely noticed in my period blood) this is a pretty big concern for me.

So I just figured, why not take 100 mg of aspirin two or three days before a dry fast? Nothing online about the safety of this. Have asked a doctor, they said it “should” be fine but weren’t certain.

I’m not really talking about aspirin for short dry fasts, more about the 6-7 day dry fasts which I want to work up to in order to get rid of other health issues.

Does anybody know / can anybody think of potential risks?

Answer

Ok, I found the part from The Phoenix Protocol:

“Drinking water during a fast also prevents the blood from becoming concentrated which then can’t stimulate the hypothalamus to start endogenous water production as described in the next chapter.”

So I think aspirin might interfere with what we’re trying to achieve with dry fasting. But, see my previous comment.

Also, the Phoenix Protocol (as far as I’ve read) doesn’t seem to source much of anything written. I think the writings of Dr Filonov and Dr Shchennikov may be more reliable but I don’t know if either have data that is recorded in a way that would be considered scientific evidence here.

Answer

I think I read in the Phoenix Protocol or elsewhere that the thickening of the blood was desirable for some reason.

But I feel like dry fasting is the Wild West of fasting and currently we are in a sort of lawless, science less state.

I’m sure the Russian doctors who have been working with patients in this for 50 years would have opinions.

Answer

Then drink water. You seem to have a legitimate reason to not dry fast.

I would rather do that than add more “contaminants” to the body. Your liver will take an even worse beating with aspirin (and the lack of water) than whatever blood clot risk you think you have.

Answer

Aspirin is a drug that can cause stomach ulcers. Not worth it. Imo, just do intermittent dry fasting over a period of time. It takes longer but your body will get the same benefits, the body doesn’t just start over from 0 in healing that way. Garlic is a blood thinner, and iirc water fasting would thin your blood as well.
